Are You Allergic To E-Cigarette Smoke?

Some people state that they are allergic to the E-Cigarette smoke, when in fact it isn’t smoke at all, it’s Vapor.
In the E-liquid that is used for Vaping there are only four main ingredients. Those ingredients are Propylene Glycol, Vegetable Glycerin, Natural or Artificial Flavoring, and/or Nicotine. Propylene Glycol is actually an ingredient that is used in inhalers, as well as many other products. Vegetable Glycerin is also in most of the foods that you eat and the Flavoring is used in sodas or candies, etc.
We, the founders of Vapor Awareness, had actually encountered a situation similar to this subject. It all had happened when we were visiting our local food market. We had our Vaporizers out and at this certain booth we hadn’t even been Vaping. We were actually Vaping about three booths down, so we were walking past this woman and she starts ranting on and on about how she was having an asthma attack. At this time she seemed to be fine, as though she was moving quite fine and she wasn’t gasping for air like someone who was having an actual asthma attack would do. Also with Vapor, you can’t smell it nor does the Vapor linger for long. There were people giving her weird looks and giving us weird looks also, but the lady was obviously overreacting. She took out her asthma inhaler and it was at that time we told the woman as we were walking away that what we were inhaling was the same as what she was. She seemed furious, but we moved on our way.
This leads to the fact that the only reason anyone would ever be allergic to an E-liquid is if they were allergic to PG and that is just the same as being allergic to something like peanuts, bee stings, or anything else. Interactions such like these happen just about every day. It is people that act out like that who need to be educated on the subject before they object or make a big scene about something as harmful as an E-Cigarette or a Vaporizer pen. This is why Vapor Awareness is here, to educate and inform people about Vaping.
