Is It A Crime To Be Healthy?
Imagine walking through a store with some friends or your family, they know you Vape and you have told them everything you could possibly know about the subject. You are walking into a shopping center or store and you feel the need to Vape, so you take it out and someone who you are around says “don’t take that out here, please just put it away for now.” It makes you angered. People should be able to Vape where they please, no matter where they are, even when the people around that person is educated, but they are still bothered by it.
The lack of knowledge people have about Vaping, as with a lot of things in life, make them fearful. Even when people are more educated on the subject, they often still feel the need to conform to what they feel or think society wants them to be. Most people can’t go against society or be outspoken as much as others. Basically, even if they accept it themselves, what it does is force people to wait for others, like lemmings. A lemming is a small, short-tailed rodent that is found in the Arctic tundra and what they do is they follow where the other lemmings go. When one lemming goes off of a cliff, the others will follow because it is just part of their nature.
Lemmings have a very similar instinct to that of the average human. The average human being will have the same life as the others such as working, going to college, getting a career, and then having a family. Society has built a certain structure that most people will abide by. With Vaping though, it’s a very new thing for a lot of people and most haven’t quite gotten a hold of it, to believe in it enough to enforce it. Even though it’s out there and there are beginning to be people who Vape instead of smoke, it still isn’t such where everyone is educated about it. A lot of people would rather see someone smoking a cigarette outside then someone who is Vaping anywhere they please. Just think to yourself next time when you are out and about with your family or your friends and they tell you to put away your e-cig “I’m NOT going to be a lemming.”
